Gerald Pittler, O.D. Inc.

OUR PRACTICE has serves young children to seniors in all aspects of eye care. Over the years we have stayed current by adding new technologies that enable us provide digital photography, retinal imaging and computer-assisted analysis of conditions like glaucoma macular degeneration, diabetes, and systemic hypertension. ​Having the ability to share images of how these conditions physically affect the eye's normal functions, is the best way to educate and involve patients in the understanding and management of their eye's health and vision. 

Dr. Pittler grew up in Hermosa Beach, California. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Optometry, an undergraduate of UC Davis, a Navy veteran and father of 3 adult children.  

Dr. Pittler enjoys kayaking, lap-swimming, traveling, golf and wood-working. He is also a bee keeper with his 8 year-old granddaughter and they sell the honey, which goes into her college savings. His most rewarding professional experiences came from the many years he accompanied Petaluma Rotary Club to remote fishing and farming villages in Baja, Mexico to provide much needed eye care.
